Sorry for the lack of updates, kids. Last week, we forgot to record the episode! Please accept this excellent video of Bill Evans playing the classic “Waltz For Debby” as a token of apology.

Thinking about playing a Moby song on the show tonight. Too much? (Image source: Wikipedia)
Hey “Anonymous”, check out this cover of “Mercy, Mercy, Mercy”.
Music washes away the dust of everyday life.
Anonymous asked: Mercy, Mercy, Mercy by Joe Zawinul??
I don’t have that song, but if I find it, I’d be more than happy to play it. Love Cannonball’s cover.
The following are from our “All That Jazz” photoshoot. More to come!

Tonight was a momentuous event in “All That Jazz” history, as well as history in general. We had our very first guest, Taylor University’s own Joel Cunningham, who gracefully lent his talent to the show for a matter of five minutes or so.
Chaos ensued as I had returned from a powerful screening of the documentary Food, Inc., which I unwisely watched on an empty stomach. As everyone around me had their stomachs turned, I watched unethical food practices and dead chickens thinking, “I could really use a bite to eat right now”.
Apparently, it’s illegal to eat in the studio. I found that out from my co-host after he ravenously devoured 1/17th of my chocolate chip cookie.
Tall and grinning guest Joel sat in the studio dazed at my co-host and I’s boring, yet wild antics. Together, we made jokes about food, and vandalized the “On Air” sign by putting a “C” before it, making the sign spell out “Con Air”, in honor of the milestone Jerry Bruckheimer action flick from the 90s.
Scarred by the events, Joel vowed never to return the studio again, instead opting to begin his own show, a la Conan O’Brien. Between Joel and Conan, TBS will probably have their hands full for the next couple of years.
